What is a Pro Street Car?

Tubbed Rear Tires

Tubbed rear tires are typically installed on the rear wheel wells of Pro Street cars.  Oversized fat rear tires provide enhanced performance and better traction.  A typical tubbed rear wheel is 14 inches wide or larger.

Modified Frame

Pro Street cars can be back-halfed or full frame cars.  The added frame modifications reinforce the car strength and add safety.

Supercharger (Blower)

A supercharger is an air compressor that increases the pressure of air supplied to an internal combustion engine.  The added air flow allows the engine to burn more fuel, which produces more power. A blower sticking through the hood is a trademark of many Pro Street cars.

Engine

There is no replacement for displacement.  It depends on who you ask, but bigger is better.

Roll Bar Cage

An aftermarket roll bar cage is often welded to protect the driver from driving misadventures.
